About these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website library.thezariya.com and related services of Aayaam Object Library, a venture of The Zariya Collective, Nazirabad, Kolkata, West Bengal, India (“we”, “us”). By using the site or creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and need no signature. Effective 16 October 2026.

Using the site

• You must be 18 or over, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to use accounts or send us data.
• Use the site lawfully. Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it, scrape it at scale, or use it to send spam or harmful content.
• Give accurate information when you contact us or sign up.

Accounts and sign-in

You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think it has been misused. One account per person unless we agree otherwise. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law. You can close your account at any time, and we will delete your data as our Privacy Policy describes.

Using the library

• The library is free. You need an account with a confirmed email address to download files.
• There is a fair-use limit of 40 file downloads per account per day. Do not scrape the library or use bots to download in bulk.
• We may change, remove or add objects at any time.

Downloaded objects and licence

Objects are supplied by manufacturers and checked by Aayaam against AS 1:2026. You may use downloaded objects in your own design, construction and facility-management projects, including commercial ones. You may not resell the files, republish them as a collection, or host them elsewhere. Manufacturers keep the copyright and trade marks in their objects and brands.

Objects, dimensions, prices, lead times and specifications are provided by manufacturers and may be out of date. Prices are indicative. Lead times are best estimates. Always confirm everything with the manufacturer before you specify or order.

AS 1:2026 marks

An AS1 mark on an object is a statement about the digital object only. It does not certify the product’s performance, safety or regulatory status. Marks may not be copied or used by anyone else without Aayaam’s written permission.

Manufacturers

If you give us product data or files, you confirm you own them or have the right to share them and that they are accurate. You grant Aayaam a licence to host them and let members download them as agreed in your written agreement with us.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the content of this site (text, design, graphics, code, tools and logos) belongs to The Zariya Collective or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and share links to the site and print pages for personal use. You may not copy, modify, distribute or commercially exploit the content without our written permission. Trade names and marks of others belong to them. Works in the public domain, such as Raphael’s The School of Athens, remain so.

What you send us

If you send us a message, file or suggestion, you confirm you have the right to do so. You allow us to use it to reply, to provide the service you asked for and, for suggestions, to improve our services without obligation to you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

Links and third-party services

The site links to and uses third-party services such as WhatsApp, Google, Cloudflare and payment apps. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. Nothing here is professional advice for your situation unless we have agreed so in writing.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity arising from your use of the site. For any direct loss that cannot be excluded, our total liability for the site and free content is limited to ₹10,000. For paid services, the limit is the fees you paid for the service in question in the 12 months before the claim, unless your agreement says otherwise. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Your responsibility

You agree to compensate us for loss that results from your breach of these terms or the law, or from content you send us that infringes someone’s rights.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict or end your access if you break these terms or the law, or to protect the site or others. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law) will continue.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please first write to us at [email protected] so we can try to settle a dispute by discussion. If we cannot, the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. For material changes we will give notice and, where required, ask for your agreement.

General

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms, together with any written agreement with us and our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement about the site. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver.
